What are Stabilised Chlorine Granules? Fine grade rapid dissolving chlorine granules for easy, cost effective chlorination of your pool or hot tub. These fast acting chlorine granules are completely soluble and will hardly effect the pH of swimming pool water. They contain Cyanuric Acid (Stabiliser) which is like a sunscreen for chlorine, and will stop the sun from destroying the chlorine residual in outdoor pools.

How often should you add Pool Chlorine Granules? Everytime you swim you'll use up chlorine, if your water is heated the chlorine will be used up faster too. Rain washes algae spores into the water, and your chlorine will be used up killing them off. As such it's difficult to give an exact answer and dose rate, but as a general rule you should be adding chlorine every few days in the summer to maintain a level of 2-3ppm. The most important thing you can do it test your pool water with Test Strips as these will tell you how much chlorine is in your water, and therefore you'll know how much you need to add. These are the same chlorine granules our pool maintanance team uses when cleaning pools, so if you're not sure how much of our Stabilised Pool Chlorine Granules to add to your pool you can Contact Us for help and advice. Just one of the benefits of shopping online with Oasis.

Always check active strength of products and remember, half the strength is twice the price! Do not use as a shock chlorine, if you need to shock the pool use unstabilised Shock Chlorine instead.
