WHILE STOCKS LAST
Fi-Clor Spa Hardness Increaser is used to raise the calcium hardness level in spa water. Calcium hardness is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium in pool water. If there is insufficient dissolved calcium, it will be difficult to balance the water - there could also be grout loss in tiled spas.
When to use Calcium Hardness Increaser
You need to increase the calcium hardness if the level is below 175mg/l (ppm) in acrylic spas or 250mg/l (ppm) in tiled spas.
Dose rate
Use 10g Fi-Clor Spa Hardness Increaser per 1,000 litres (220 galls) of spa water. Each dose will raise the hardness by approx 10mg/l (ppm).
How to use
Add no more than 100g at any one time, otherwise the water may cloud excessively. With the circulation system running, sprinkle the product directly into the water around the perimeter of the spa. Do not pre-dissolve as this could generate excessive heat. Use only when bathing has ceased and avoid the area around the skimmers. Bathing may recommence when all the material has fully dissolved.
Storage & Handling
Store in a cool, dry place. Contact with combustible materials may cause fire. Do not mix with other chemicals. Always wear suitable gloves and eye protection when handling. Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
