1.5 inch Threaded Hosetail

Threaded 1.5 inch Hosetail -

One end of the hosetail has a 1.5in male thread and can be screwed/threaded into standard inch and a half female threaded fittings, the other end is tapered to allow hoses to connect on. We recommend using this in conjunction with a Jubilee clip to keep the pipe in place, and our PTFE tape to secure the thread.

Most domestic pool pipe work uses 1.5 inch pipes and fittings, this name is taken from the internal pipe measurement and most of the 1.5 inch fittings actually measure closer to 2 inches which can be confusing! as such many people think their pipework is bigger than it is.
