Socket Union Female Threaded P/FT

Socket Union Female Threaded P/FT -  1.5 inch or 2 inch socket unions, ideal where you may need to take something off the pipe work (eg a pump or filter) as one end unscrews.

P/FT one end is glued onto the pipe work, the other end is female threaded (internal threading) so you'd screw a male threaded fitting INTO it.

Most domestic pool pipe work uses 1.5 inch pipes and fittings, this name is taken from the internal pipe measurement and most of the 1.5 inch fittings actually measure closer to 2 inches which can be confusing! as such many people think their pipework is bigger than it is.
