Brass/ABS Composite Union P/FT

Brass Composite Union Female Threaded P/FT -  1.5 inch or 2 inch composite unions, ideal where you may need to take something off the pipe work (eg a pump or filter) as one end unscrews, the other end would be used on something where heat resistance is needed for example a heat exchanger or pool boiler.

P/FT one end is glued onto the pipe work, the brass end is female threaded (internal threading) so it screws onto a male threaded fitting.

Most domestic pool pipe work uses 1.5 inch pipes and fittings, this name is taken from the internal pipe measurement and most of the 1.5 inch fittings actually measure closer to 2 inches which can be confusing! as such many people think their pipework is bigger than it is.
