Your Pool or Spa Water needs to have a Calcium Hardness level of between 200ppm and 400ppm (parts per million). Water with a lower calcium level (Soft water) is likely to damage your pool equipment and can leach the missing calcium from the pool structure and plant.

How to use Calcium Hardness Plus:

1. Test the water to establish the Calcium Hardness of your pool or spa water. If below 150ppm proceed as follows;
2. To increase the Calcium Hardness by 10ppm add 15g of Harness Plus per 1,000 litres of water (700g per 10,000 gal)
3. Make sure that the circulation pump is on and that the pool or spa is NOT being used
4. Always pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic bucket full of water. (Dilute at a rate of 100g per 10 litre bucket). Add solution direct to the pool or spa water
5. Wait approximately 30 minutes before using pool or spa The pool or spa water will cloud over temporarily when adding this product
