Bromine tablets are for easy, effective sanitising used in conjunction with a brominator, floating dispenser or placed in skimmer basket.

Why use Bromine Tablets in pool or hot tub water? It is vitally important to use a sanitiser in your hot tub or pool water to keep the water clean and clear. These concentrated small tablets are slow dissolving for easy, cost effective sanitation. They are for use with a Feeder unit / Floating dispenser or simply just pop into your skimmer basket for regular effective bromination of your swimming pool or hot tub. If you need to raise the Bromine level in your pool water quickly use Bromine granules instead. Bromine does not have that strong chemical smell often associated with chlorine, as it does not produce chloramines, it also does not contain a stabiliser (cyanuric acid) and therefore you won't end up with high stabiliser levels in your hot tub water. If you use Bromine in conjunction with Non-Chlorine shock (added about once a week) you can regenerate much of the bromine and bring the bromine levels back up without adding more tablets! How often should you add Small Bromine Tablets? Everytime you swim you'll use up Bromine, if your water is heated the Bromine will be used up faster too. Rain washes algae spores into the water, and your Bromine will be used up killing them off. As such it's difficult to give an exact answer and dose rate, fill your floating dispenser with Bromine tablets and adjust the flow rate to keep the Bromine level at 3-5ppm in pools, and 4-6ppm in hot tubs.

These tablets will dissolve slowly over time, they will dissolve faster if the water is warmer or if they are placed in areas with a high flow rate. Keep an eye on the Bromine level by using Test Strips as these will tell you how much Bromine is in your water. How to use Bromine Tablets

1. These tablets are designed for use with a Bromine Feeder, floating dispenser, or can be placed in skimmer basket.
2. When the feeder device requires refilling with tablets always follow manufacturers instructions. 
3. Ensure tablets used in the feeder are of the same chemical (Bromo-chloro-Dimethyl Hydantoin). If other materials have been used previously, wash out feeder thoroughly before adding tablets.
4. Adjust feeder to ensure a constant bromine residual is present in the pool.
5. Check bromine levels regularly with a Test Kit
6. Check pH value regularly with a Test Kit and maintain a level of 7.2 to 7.6.
