This is the one we use at Oasis Swimming Pools when we close down swimming pools for winter and is the only one we sell. HTH Pool Winter Protect Winterising Liquid has been specially developed to help prevent algae and fungi growth when the pool is shut down for the winter. It can also help prevent the formation of scale and staining from dissolved minerals so the water and pool surfaces are in good order when the pool is re-opened in spring. It is compatible with all sanitisers and will not affect the pH.

Before adding the winteriser add a good dose of Shock Chlorine to help protect your pool from algae growth

HTH Winteriser dose rate in gallons (scroll down for litres);

• Each 3ltr bottle doses up to 22,000 gallons
• That's 1.36 litres of winteriser per 10,000 gallons of pool water

HTH Winteriser dose rate in litres;

• Each 3ltr bottle doses up to 100,000 litres (100m3) of pool water
• That's 300ml of winteriser per 10,000 litres (10m3) of pool water.

If the winter is mild, you can add another dose of winteriser in February.
